Computing and online learning
In line with our vision to equip children with skills for a successful future, and our commitment to global citizenship, South Moreton is proud to be a Google School, educating our pupils through the Google for Education platform.

Despite being a small village school, we want to open up the world to our pupils, and this can be demonstrated by our enthusiasm to 'bring the outside in'.
The Google cloud computing model provides children with access to a wide range of programs, resources and functionality to become digitally literate in order to develop the skills needed for their futures. We use Chromebooks across the school, accessing a wide range of Google programs and possibilities to collaborate and share our learning.
In line with our enthusiasm for digital literacy comes a commitment to ESafety and educating our children to be responsible digital citizens. We have careful filters and systems in place to ensure pupils are learning within a safe and secure digital environment.
At South Moreton we ensure our staff have up-to-date knowledge on how to ensure the safety of our pupils online. We also encourage parents and pupils to attend our ESafety sessions to ensure you can keep safe online at home.
Our ESafety policy can be found on our policies page and you can find further information at the CEOP Parent Info page.
Please do not hesitate to speak to your child's class teacher if you are worried about something your child has seen, done or experienced online.
