Head Teacher Mrs Amanda Smith with Iain Craigie and Eco Warriors

South Moreton Primary School was accredited as an Eco School for the fifth time in July last year. We are very proud of our Eco status and have many projects in and around the school to save energy, recycle and encourage the biodiversity of our extensive grounds.  We learn outdoors as much as we can and every child in the school takes part in Forest School during the year.

Established in 1896, the school has a long history at the heart of South Moreton village.  We have extended and improved the buildings and grounds over time to accommodate our rising roll.  Our curriculum has changed too over the years to continue to ensure that our children are as well prepared in their primary phase as possible.  We have a creative approach to the curriculum with personalised learning at the centre of our practice to ensure that each child reaches their potential.  Our standards are high and our approach to learning rigorous.  We have happy children, committed and experienced staff, an active PTA and a supportive Governing Body.

I am pleased and proud to be Head of such a special school. We welcome visitors, if you are interested in finding out more about our school and current availability of places please telephone or email our office address to arrange an appointment.
